Journal & Planner Personalization Workshop

Ever find it overwhelming to start using your journal, planner, or notebook? Or ever find yourself losing motivation after a few entries and have a hard time starting again?

In this hands-on group workshop, you'll learn how to navigate and start resolving some of these common hurdles, and be able to create a positive and more enjoyable experience in using journals, planners, and/or notebooks through personalization. We will guide you step by step, where you’ll shape, decorate, and create something personal and inviting that you can take home.

You also have the option to bring your own journal, planner, or notebook. If you want to purchase one instead, we'll also provide a workshop-only discount you can use to purchase a journal, planner, or notebook, curated from high quality Korean brands.

You'll also have the option of making your own simple leather journal cover at an added cost (for the leather and other materials).

What you’ll do:

• Plan and design a way to make the journal, planner, or notebook completely yours

• Choose a set of journaling/planning accessories (more information below)

• Choose and make your own charm chain

• Design and make your own writing/pencil board

• Design and create a bookmark/ribbon bookmark

• Foil emboss your stationery goods

• Optional: make your own simple leather journal/planner/notebooks cover (for an additional material cost).

What’s included:

• A set of accessories & materials you can choose to personalize your journal, planner, or notebook to make it not only usable but loveable, including 1 Penco Plastic Clip, stickers sheets (e.g., functional or decorative or both), decorations (e.g., charm with chain, laminated stickers), and one Livework color gel ink pen

• Materials to make a pencil board that is customized to fit perfectly with your journal, planner, or notebook

• A zine with tips on using journals/planners/notebooks

• High quality leather and paper (to make a bookmark for the planner)

• Foil embossing personalization on leather and paper goods

• Guided instruction and hands-on support

• Light refreshments

• Additional high quality leather and materials (to make a simple leather cover) and metal and acrylic charms and chains will be available for purchase

Cancellation policy:

• 10+ days before workshop: Full refund or credit for a future workshop

• 3–9 days before workshop: Credit* for a future workshop (no refund)

• Less than 3 days before workshop: No refund (materials are prepared in advance)
