As part of celebrating AANHPI month and its communities, we are excited to share these tote bags with you!
We wanted to celebrate the communities' (hi)stories through the spaces they've built and continue to protect.
The design highlights well-known features and markers from the six officially designated AAPI neighborhoods in the city of Los Angeles: Koreatown, Chinatown, Thai Town, Little Bangladesh, Historic Filipinotown, and Little Tokyo.
Drawn and designed by yours truly (with kind & patient feedback from friends who are artists and designers) and screen printed by a local print house in black and lavender.
Part of the proceeds will go to a local community program.
